Beyond the Cave-In

Epic - Prologue Dwarven Quest

Guard-Captain Unnarr believes that the other side of the caved-in passage is somewhere in the Silver Deep, the mine in the northeast corner of the valley. He suspects goblins.

Judging from the location of the treasury, I would say the burglars dug their passage from the Silver Deep, and that points to goblins. Goblins crawled into that mine shortly after that unpleasant business two years ago, and we haven't had much success driving them out.

STEPS:

1) Search for the cave-in.

Head down through the Silver Deep mine, located in the northeast part of Thorin's Gate. Near the bottom, you'll find the cave-in, along with a dead Dourhand dwarf. You get an auto-update sword from examining the dwarf.

2) Return to Unnarr.

Return to Guard-Captain Unnarr, just inside the entrance of Thorin's Hall, and show him the insignia on the sword.
