Epic - Prologue Elven Quest

Langlas wants to quickly stop the Dourhands before they are able to set sail, with Avorthal as their hostage. He suspects the evil dwarves will leave from Kheledul, and he wants to talk to someone that has knowledge of the area. He sends you to talk to Svanr, "who was harbour-master of the port before the Dourhands captured the city."

STEPS:

1) Talk to Svanr. Langlas says:

"You will find him to the east of here, not far from Kheledul."

As Langlas says, if you follow the road from the lodge to Kheledul, you will quickly find Svanr (21.1s, 93.7w). Svanr explains that you will need to gather some allies and quickly storm the dwarven city at night, so they will be unaware. When you are ready, select "continue quest."

2) Talk to Svanr and rescue Avorthal. You must go at night. If the conditions are right, and you are ready, select "Travel Now."

3) Find Avorthal. You will be in an instance of Kheledul, with lots of evil dwarves (levels 11-13). The Dourhand Night-watch mobs are signature level 12, and they bring two allies to pounce on you as well. Head to the back of Kheledul, towards the water, to find Avorthal (21.8s, 91.4w).

4) Defend Avorthal. In the same place you found him, you will need to ensure he lives in a fight against several more Dourhand dwarves (not difficult). Your quest will automatically update after you have successfully defended him.

5) Talk to Avorthal and select "Travel Now".

6) Talk to Langlas, back at Thrasi's Lodge (where you are placed after traveling).

7) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and you will now be able to take the next quest, Preparations for the Assault.
