Epic - Prologue Elven Quest

Langlas is quite pleased that you have freed Avorthal. However, the goblins are fast approaching, and Langlas wants you to thin their numbers some, to help ensure Dwalin and Dorongogur will be victorious.

STEPS:

1) Reduce the goblins' melee capability in Rath Teraig and reduce the goblins' range capability in Rath Teraig. Basically, you'll need to kill 10 melee goblins and 10 ranged goblins in this area. Rath Teraig is the area between the mountains south of Gondamon. To safely get there, take the road north away from the lodge, then turn west towards Gondamon. Follow that until you can head south into the valley between the mountains. There are many goblins shortly past the Northern Barricade (you'll have to fight through some spiders (21.9s, 96.2w), Milk-Eyes and birds), to the left or right (although I preferred the left route). The ranged are the Stingers, the melee are the Blue-Crag.

2) Talk to Langlas.

3) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and you will now be able to take the next quest, Assault on Rath Teraig.
