One Called Strider, The
Epic - Prologue Elven QuestLanglas wants you to report to his captain, "a ranger they call Strider", about the threat Skorgrim poses.
STEPS:
1) Talk to Barliman Butterbur. He will know of Langlas' Captain. Butterbur is the owner of the Prancing Pony in Bree. Says Langlas:
"Travel far to the east, to a place that Men call Bree-Town."
If you do not take a pony to get there, head to the southwest, to the path to the Shire. From the Shire head east until you get to the Brandywine Bridge and then stay on the road to get to Bree-town, in the center of Bree-land. Once in Bree (assuming you arrived via the west gate), follow the road east to a dead end, and you will likely be right in front of The Prancing Pony (29.7s, 51.3w). You will see Butterbur right after you enter.
2) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and Butterbur's Mantle.
