General Quest

Arinora needs to make (and mend) more blankets than she currently has materials for, in order to give the Inn guests some comfort. You will be gathering wolf-hides for her just for this purpose.

NOTE: Many of the quests starting in The Forsaken Inn will require you to kill the same creature. Make life easier on yourself as well as ensuring an efficient questing session by taking all of The Forsaken Inn quests at once. You can view them all on THIS PAGE.

STEPS:

1) Collect 8 wolf-hides. Arinora tells you the many places you can find wolves:

"Wolves creep among the ruins of Minas Eriol to the south, though that place is also crawling with wargs and goblins. Wolves hunt too among the Weather Hills, to the east and north. Finally, you could travel even further north, but the Midgewater Pass is dangerous and full of even worse things than wolves. When you have the wolf-hides, return to me and I'll see you are rewarded."

Arinora is correct; there are several different places to find wolves. I worked on this quest at the same time I did Noble Deeds, as well as Fair Trade with Bree, so the wolves I hunted for this quest were in Weather Hills, just northeast of the Midgewater Pass in Bree, and north of The Forsaken Inn (Pass: 30.3s, 42.8w). To get to this area of wolfy goodness, you can travel northwest from the Inn, heading towards the bottom of the Pass (the water part). You'll soon find yourself in Bree. Take the Pass northeast to find the wolves (28.8s, 41.5w). If you are not working on the Fair Trade with Bree quest (which requires wolves specific to the area I described), then you may wish to just kill the Silent Yellowfangs north of The Forsaken Inn (starting at 33.8s, 40.1w). Those wolves are stealthed until you are within range, FYI.

2) Bring wolf-hides to Arinora.

3) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, Arinora's Gloves, and you will now be able to take the next quest, Fluffing the Pillows.
