General QuestOld Mugwort has mixed up a special concoction for the nearby goblins that will either make them fight amongst themselves or "make them change their minds about staying here." You get to ensure the goblins have access to the stuff.
STEPS:
1) Collect the Foul-smelling Draught. Mugwort instructs you:
"Take these draughts and pour them into the barrels located in the goblins' camps to the northeast of the inn, at Weatherfoot, the base of Weathertop. Return to me when the deed is done."
You will automatically get the draught in your inventory upon accepting the quest.
2) Add the draught to 6 Food Barrels. You'll find the six food barrels that you need to taint at the Goblin camps at the base of Weathertop, in an area called Weatherfoot, northeast of The Forsaken Inn. Here are the locations for some of them: (31.8s, 38.4w), (31.7s, 38.7w), (32s, 38.5w).
3) Talk to Old Mugwort.
4) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and either Old Mugwort's Shoes or Old Mugwort's Shield.
