Fair Trade with Bree
General QuestAnlaf still needs his supplies, so he wants you to travel to Bree to speak with Chief Watcher Grimbriar at the Bree-town Hall.
NOTE: Many of the quests starting in The Forsaken Inn will require you to kill the same creature. Make life easier on yourself as well as ensuring an efficient questing session by taking all of The Forsaken Inn quests at once. You can view them all on THIS PAGE.
STEPS:
1) Talk to Chief Watcher Grimbriar. From The Forsaken Inn, take the west road towards Bree, and then USE THE MAP to find the town hall (31.1s, 51.2w). Grimbriar needs some time to gather the requested supplies. While you wait for him to do so, he has given you the task of killing some troublesome wolves.
2) Defeat 6 Howling Yellowfangs. Defeat 4 Lurking Yellowfangs. Grimbriar tells you:
"In the northest corner of the Midgewater Marshes, east of Bree, there is a pass that leads into the Weather Hills. There is a den of wolves causing no end of trouble for a friend of mine in the area."
Take the south gate out of Bree-town, and make your way across the Midgewater Marsh. You will indeed find the Midgewater Pass in the northeast part of the Marsh (30.1s, 42.6w), and if you follow it a short distance (it leads to the northeast), you will soon come across the wolves you seek (28.8s, 41.5w). The Lurking ones will likely be more difficult for you to kill, for they are invisible until you are within their range.
3) Talk to Chief Watcher Grimbriar.
4) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and either Watcher's Leggings or Watcher's Spear.
