General QuestGadaric's people, the Eglain, have suffered dearly due to the nearby goblins. Gadaric is sick of it, and wants vengeance, vengeance that you will get for him by killing a number of goblins.
NOTE: Many of the quests starting in The Forsaken Inn will require you to kill the same creature. Make life easier on yourself as well as ensuring an efficient questing session by taking all of The Forsaken Inn quests at once. You can view them all on THIS PAGE.
MINAS ERIOL NOTE: While this is not labeled a fellowship quest, be wary about going into Minas Eriol alone if you don't want to fight multiple level 17ish goblins that will pounce on you, and then whistle for their friends Bob and Larry to come and have a piece of you as well.
STEPS:
1) Defeat 8 White Hand Guards. Defeat 8 White Hand Spear-throwers. Defeat the White Hand Thrasher. Gadaric says:
"Would you go to the ruins of Minas Eriol, southeast of this inn, and destroy the goblins you find there? The Eglain deserve vengeance."
To get to the ruins, head southeast from The Forsaken Inn; you will soon find a path to follow. The path curves gently around a mountain, and when you have a choice of going north or east up a hill, head east up the hill. You'll easily find two of the variety of goblins you need to kill in these ruins (36.2s, 39.1w). You may have a bit of trouble with the lesser-seen White Hand Thrasher. While I have heard that this spawn lives in Minas Eriol just as the others do, I did not see it during my visits there. Instead, I found him in one of the Goblin camps at the base of Weathertop, in an area called Weatherfoot, northeast of The Forsaken Inn (31.7s, 38.6w). An additional note for the Minas Eriol area: the White Hand Spearer will not get you credit for the White Hand Spear-thrower requirement, so if you've reached the Spearers and the Wargs, you've likely gone deeper into the ruins than you need to.
2) Talk to Gadaric Munce.
3) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and you will now be able to take the next quest, Hunters Become Prey.
