Hunters Become Prey

General Quest

Not only have the Eglain been oppressed by the goblins, but also by the wargs. You are to kill them and take their tails, to "show them they are weak."

MINAS ERIOL NOTE: While this is not labeled a fellowship quest, be wary about going into Minas Eriol alone if you don't want to fight multiple level 17ish goblins that will pounce on you, and then whistle for their friends Bob and Larry to come and have a piece of you as well.

STEPS:

1) Collect 10 Warg-tails. Gardaric urges you:

"Hunt down the wargs, collect their tails, and bring them to me so I can see smiles once more upon the faces of those few that remain of my people!"

He also tells you where to find them:

"The wargs dwell now among the ruins of Minas Eriol, the home they stole from my people!"

To get to the ruins of Minas Eriol, head southeast from The Forsaken Inn; you will soon find a path to follow. The path curves gently around a mountain, and when you have a choice of going north or east up a hill, head east up the hill. Continue into the ruins, and make your way to a bridge at (36.1, 38.3). A couple of Warg Man-Flayers spawn on the bridge, and many more in the hills and ruins just past the bridge (35.1s, 38.5w).

2) Bring Warg-tails to Gadaric Munce.

3) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and either Munce's Gauntlets, Munce's Axe or Munce's Cape.
