Noble Deeds

General Quest

The Constable wants your help in dealing with a variety of nearby creatures that have been causing trouble.

NOTE: Many of the quests starting in The Forsaken Inn will require you to kill the same creature. Make life easier on yourself as well as ensuring an efficient questing session by taking all of The Forsaken Inn quests at once. You can view them all on THIS PAGE.

STEPS:

1) Collect 3 Sharp Boar-tusks. Collect 6 Bushy Wolf-tails. Collect 4 Orc-shields. The Constable tells you:

"Up north, beyond Weathertop, there are wolves and Orcs in the Midgewater Pass, and boars scattered throughout Annunlos…"

You will find Scrubrunner and Shattertusk boars north of The Forsaken Inn, and you will also find plenty of White Hand Orcs as well (starting at 33.8s, 40.1w). Note that not every kill will have the tusks or shields you need.

Next up, wolves! There are indeed many wolves in Weather Hills, just northeast of the Midgewater Pass in Bree, and north of The Forsaken Inn (Pass: 30.3s, 42.8w). To get to this area of wolfy goodness, you can travel northwest from the Inn, heading towards the bottom of the Pass (the water part). You'll soon find yourself in Bree. Take the Pass northeast to find the wolves (28.8s, 41.5w). There is another route across the water, far north of the Inn at an area called Gondrinn (29s, 38.7w). To get to it, you'll need to pass through some Orc camps called Glumhallow. Once you've gone past the Orcs, follow the road north until an area where you can turn west (29.3s, 38.2w). I was doing other quests that required wolves specific to the Midgewater Pass so I did not take this route, but I offer it for those of you that desire an additional challenge. If you are not working on the Fair Trade with Bree quest simultaneously as this one, then you may not need to travel to the Pass at all! If this is the case, simply kill the Silent Yellowfang wolves that are in the same area as the boars and Orcs. The choice is all yours.

2) Speak with the old Constable.

3) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and Constable's Feathered Hat.
