Felling Trees

General Quest

When people in town needed wood for barricades, they would take down the trees in Nan Walthren. Elsie is worried about her husband and brother that have gone to find trees to fell. She wants you to search along the Greenway for them.

STEPS:

1) Talk to Mattie Woodruff. You know that Mattie and Elsie's brother Noll went "north along the Greenway proper in search of trees to fell." Take the road north out of town, this is the Greenway. Well, it actually curves a bit to the northwest first, and before the road turns the other direction, you'll come across a small camp on the left (west) side of the road where Mattie is (14.6s, 54.5w). If you're into silver mining, you'll probably find one or two deposits right in front of his camp. Mattie explains that he and Noll did manage to escape the Orcs, but their cart broke down.

2) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your XP, and you will now be able to take the next quest, Salvage a Wheel.
