Goblin Leader, The

General Quest

The Constable wants you to go to the heart of the goblin problem: their leader, Nishruk. Your task is simple, kill him.

NOTE: Though the spawns within this area are tough and numerous, my group did not suffer any deaths. For comparison purposes, here was my group make-up: Two Hunters, one level 24 and the other level 26, Guardian level 23, Champion level 22, Minstrel level 22, and Minstrel level 27.

STEPS:

1) Defeat Nishruk. Bram says:

"I'd advise you to gather friends to assist you. The goblins deeper in the ruins are far stronger, even than the Orcs…it's why they haven't been pressed into service. Go far to the eastern section of the ruins and kill Nishruk. I'll have a reward for you when the deed is done."

To get to the ruins, head southeast from The Forsaken Inn; you will soon find a path to follow. The path curves gently around a mountain, and when you have a choice of going north or east up a hill, head east up the hill. Continue into the ruins, and cross one of the bridges to get to the other side. I like the large one at: (36s, 38.3w). Once on the other side, keep going in the same direction towards a huge wooden bridge (35.8s, 37.7w), where the plethora of Elite goblins begins. On the bridge you'll find some White Hand Strong Arm, level 19-20 Elites.

After crossing you'll run into some White Hand Ridge-Fighters. You'll go into a fenced area (heading north), where you'll find some White Hand Strong-Arm mobs (level 20 Elite) on a wooden scouting platform. The fenced area curves here, and you'll start heading west, up hill. Be careful, you may have difficulty seeing the mobs at the top of the hill until you are OVER the hill. Then again, maybe it is because I am such a short Hobbit! You may even get surprised by a group of Elites from the left---these are the spawn just before you reach Nishruk. Once they are dispatched, go get Nishruk, a level 22 Elite with 2,693 morale and 436 power (36.1s, 37.5w). He won't come alone, however, he brings with him two more Elites, a White Hand Ridge Fighter and a White Hand Battler. Good luck!

2) Talk to Constable Bram Ashleaf.

3) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and either Constable's Halberd, Ashleaf's Jewelled Bracelet, or Nishruk's Foe.
