Rise of the Orcs

General Quest

Candaith wishes to find out where the main concentration of Orcs is. You will be distracting them from what Candaith is doing by killing a healthy number of them.

STEPS:

1) Defeat 12 White Hand Pillagers. Defeat 12 Foul-arrow White Hands. Candaith says:

"Draw the attention of the Orcs by heading west into the Weather Hills and thin their ranks. Meanwhile, I shall continue my hunt for their main force. What say you?"

You will find a smattering of Pillagers in the western Weather Hills area (30.3s, 39.1w), but your best bet at getting decent numbers of both of these mobs is to head to Glumhallow, an encampment of Orcs south and west of Candaith's camp and northwest of Weathertop (30.3s, 38.6w).

2) Talk to Candaith. Candaith has discovered where a lot of the Orc forcs is located: "an outlet within the Midgewater Pass."

3) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and you will now be able to take the next quest, An Orc Messenger.
