Light in the Darkness

General Quest

NOTE: You must have completed the quest War-Master Uzorr in order to take this quest.

Candaith saw an odd storm over Weathertop which concerned him. He wants you to check it out.

STEPS:

1) Search the summit of Weathertop for anything unusual. Candaith says:

"I think that no ordinary storm visited Amon Sul that night. I ask you to search the ruins atop Weathertop and see if there is anything to find, my friend."

From the camp, follow the path east, and then continue following it as it winds around to bring you to the top of the mountain. Once at the summit, you'll see a rune-covered rock (31s, 36.8w). Double-click it to "take a rubbing of the runes on the rock and put it in your pack."

2) Bring the Rock-rubbing to Candaith. If you need help remembering which way to get out (well, I did!), the path down is to the northwest.

3) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and you will now be able to take the next quest, Lore-Master in Brown.
