Epic - Prologue Human Quest

Ellie Cutleaf (take the road northwest of Combe, she is in her house) finally gives you the location of Skunkwood's hideout, but first sends you to talk to 'who you work for'.

Talk to Toradan

If you have forgotten by now, this started with Toradan in the Combe and Wattle inn. The Inn is in Combe of course, just southeast of the Milestone. He is in the back room

Toradan congratulates you for getting this far and suggests you ask Skunkwood about the prisoner (Amdir).

Enter the Blackwold's Hideout

Head southeast from Combe until you reach the river, and follow it east. Soon you will reach a waterfall. At the base of the waterfall is the entrance to the hideout. 30.1s 47.4w

Speak to blackwold guard

The blackwold guard at the entrance sends you to talk to William Skunkwood.

Speak to William Skunkwood

After the guard, you will turn south and enter a large chamber with four exits. You want to head west (right) to find William.

Search for Amdir

Skunkwood sends gives you his permission to see Amdir.

Head back to the large chamber with four exits. Amdir down the east passage.

When you reach Amdir, you can tell he has had better days. He has become translucent and only talks about the voices in his head. He runs off during the conversation.

Speak to the old prisoner

Behind Amdir to the north, is an old prisoner. She is happy you have freed her, and wants you to lead her out of the cave.

When leading her out of the cave, you start to get attacked by the brigands, but they are not very difficult. The bigger trouble is how incredibly slowly this old woman walks. She also forgets her walking stick and makes you go out of the way to the southern passage for that.

Encounter with William Skunkwood

When you return to the central chamber, William Skunkwood is here to stop you. He is level 8 Elite and has two wolves to help him.

Encounter with Amdir

When you finish this fight and head back to the entrance, Toradan is there to greet you, but so is an insane Amdir who strikes down Toradan!

Toradan, coughing up blood, tells you to Constable Underhill and to help Mundol in the Mustering Cave of the Rangers.

Speak to the old lady, now named Sara Oakheart to get her thanks for rescuing her and then exit the cave.

Speak to Constable Underhill

Underhill is back in Combe, just outside of the training hall southeast of the Milestone.

Underhill urges you to seek out Constable Tanglerush to spread warning of Amdir.
