Thickest of Skins Part II, The
Crafting: Tailor QuestYour local tailor trainer will send you to speak with Ranger Erandir at Esteldin in the North Downs.
Speak with Erandir
If you have not been to Esteldin yet, you can find it on the below image. Also, there is a road straight to it that does not appear on the ingame map. The road that looks like it ends at a crossroad before the town actually continues east.
You will be tasked with making Deft Gloves which consist of three easily crafted leather pieces:
-Leather Braces
-Leather Guards
-Tough Leather Pads
The harder item to find is River-maiden's Thread.
This can be found on a named Auroch Trampletusk.
Defeat Trampletusk
The area he can be found in is noted on the image above, and is southwest of the crossroads which lie west of Esteldin and south of some farms.

Trampletusk does not seem to spawn in any one exact location, but can be found wandering around this area. The area I marked is where I found him. I do not know if killing other Aurochs will speed up his spawning. The Aurochs are the large musk ox looking things in this area. They go by several names and are Elites in the high 20s, but most are non-aggressive. This said, watch out for the Threatening ones. They WILL attack.
We found him by just looking out for him a few times while passing through.Trampletusk himself is a pushover by comparison, weighing in at a mere level 20 Signature.
WARNING! Once you loot the River-maiden's hair, be very careful near vendors. You can accidentally sell it if you are not careful. If you do sell it, it won't drop off Trampletusk until you need that item in your quest again. This means you have to delete the quest and take it again.
Craft the Deft Gloves and turn them in for the ability to continue on with the Tailor Profession.
Special thanks go out to Alluvian for providing this quest writeup!
