Hodric Bracegirdle (33.4s, 62.4w) wants to protect Buckland from the encroachment of the Forest wolves.

Kill 24 forest wolves

This can be annoying sometimes, as several quests require forest wolves. If you have bad timing they can be pretty picked over. Unlike some other creatures, they don't seem to have a particular area where there are nothing but wolves, making it again more difficult.

The best places I found to pick up a few were just south of Bald Hill in the clearing and around Muddyfoot hill.

Both of these locations can be found on Brasse's Old Forest Map.

Return for a pittance of coin and your exp reward. This quest isn't worth the effort to do it. The series does not lead towards anything interesting, just more kill 24 X in the old forest.
