General QuestHodric Bracegirdle (33.4s, 62.4w) wants to protect Buckland from the encroachment of the Forest bats.
Kill 24 forest bats
This is a lot easier than the forest wolves. The path east from the bonfire glade entrance (from Buckland) has bats all along the northern side of it. Getting 24 should only take a few trips into the bat infested alcoves to the northeast.
If you are like the rest of us and tend to get lost easily in the Old forest, Brasse's Old Forest Map can be a real lifesaver.
Return for a pittance of coin and your exp reward. This quest isn't worth the effort to do it. The series does not lead towards anything interesting, just more kill 24 X in the old forest.
