Oats for the Westfarthing
General QuestTo get to Oatbarton town in Evendim, take the zone-in from the Shire; it is the closest.
Nibs needs a large amount of oats for a Sackville-Baggins hobbit from Westfarthing. Nibs figures that you are better equipped to gather the oats, since his fields are full of locusts and "your clothes look more to the task, what with being dressed for fighting and all."
I would suggest doing the Farmers-Bane quest at the same time as this one. Long live questal efficiency!
STEPS:
1) Collect 12 oats. The fields are east and northeast of where Nibs stands, and you will not have any trouble finding 12 (eastern field: 23.3s, 66.4w). Just try to be situationally aware while collecting the oats, for the locusts like to wander and may sneak up on you if you are not careful.
2) Bring Nibs Chubb the harvested oats.
3) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and either 3 Greater Essences of Athelas or 3 Greater Celebrant Salves.
