General QuestPoor Bruner seems to have difficultly in his business dealings. This time he sends you to Buckland to collect some oily salve.
STEPS:
1) Collect a crate of oily salve from Hodric Bracegirdle. Bruner tells you:
"Travel over to Brandy Hall in Buckland and speak with a good-for-naught hobbit there by the name of Hodric Bracegirdle."
Take the west gate out of Bree, and follow the road westward; it will lead you to Buckland. Once in town, keep following the road until you get to a signpost at a fork in the road. Turn right (southeast), and at the next signpost, take a left and go up the hill to get to Brandy Hall. You'll find Hodric sitting on a bench outside his home (33.4s, 62.4w).
2) Bring the crate of salve to Bruner Stoutthrush.
3) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and either Stoutthrush's Shield or Stoutthrush's Blade.
