General QuestOthrikar is a dwarf settlement in the Nan Amlug West region.
The Quartermaster wants to prepare for the upcoming winter by sending you off to collect lynx hides that he will fashion into gloves.
NOTE: For questal efficiency, be sure to work on the A Bird in the Hand and Stop the Scouts quests at the same time as you're doing this one.
STEPS:
1) Collect 15 lynx-furs. He tells you:
"Hunt the troublesome lynx that seem to cover the lands hereabouts and bring me their fur."
The big cats are called Downs Stalker, Downs Wildcat, or Downs Lynx, level 29-30. You should be able to find plenty of lynxes in the hills just to the east of town, right before you reach Nan Amlug East, where the Hoar-Mantles roam (6.9s, 43.7w).
2) Bring the lynx-furs to Quartermaster Orgrin.
3) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and you will now be able to take the next quest, Hunting Wargs.
