To Mr. Butterbur

General Quest

Adso Haybank (29.1s 56.8w) is at his construction site, not far west of Bree-town. He has had a lot of help from Barleyman Butterbur, the proprietor of the Prancing Pony in Bree.

Adso would like to repay Mr. Butterbur's kindness with a delivery of fresh boar meat.

1. Collect Boar-shanks (12)

Fortunately, there are wild piggies everywhere you look in the Southern Bree Fields. Unfortunately, not all of them will drop the exact meat you are looking for!

Exactly why Butterbur would want Boar Shanks instead of say... the ham or chops is beyond me, but I guess pub food is different.
Engraged Splintertusks and Splintertusk Maulers range from level 10 to 11. It took me only about 15 minutes to collect up enough of these.

2. Bring the boar shanks to Barliman Butterbur

If you don't know your way to the Prancing Pony by now, you're in trouble, but just in case... travel east along the main road to Bree-town. Enter the West gate and continue running straight ahead through town, eastward up the hill, till you bonk your nose on an Inn. That'd be the Prancing Pony. You'll find Mr. Butterbur right by the door inside, waiting to greet customers.

Barliman is very happy to accept the meat, and sends his thanks and well-wishes to Adso.

3. Talk to Adso Haybank

Apparently you are cheaper or more convenient than mail, for Mr, Butterbur sends you back to convey his thanks personally. So put on your running-boots and head back out west. Adso is quite happy to see you again, and hands over your 90c and experience.
