Relics of Rhudaur
General QuestElsa (atop some stairs in Agamaur) reminds you that "the Eglain depend upon the trade of ancient relics for food and other necessities." She wants you to go to the swamps and gather some for her; the value of them could sustain her people for years.
NOTE: Garth Agarwen is chock-full of Elite mobs (singles and groups) with a sprinkling of Elite Masters to keep you on your toes. Enter with a strong group, and good luck! For your comparison, here was our group make-up: Myself, a level 31 Hunter; Kalib, a level 38 Guardian; Niva, a level 20 Champion; Sinistwen, a level 39 Champion; Seriphor, a level 33 Captain, and Pinion, a level 29 Champion. Thank you to all of them for helping me with this quest.
For questal efficiency, you may wish to work on these quests at the same time: Long Overdue Justice and Arthedain's Lost Brethren.
STEPS:
1) Search ruin-piles for 10 relics. You'll find these relics inside the Garth Agarwen zone, which you'll access via Agamaur. I had noted a number of coordinates for these, but happily Brasse put them on her map (they are throughout the zone), so I suggest using that to find any ruin-piles you may need. These do not respawn (like the chalices in the Great Barrows), and your fellowship members may also need them, so keep that in mind when you start digging for relics.
2) Bring relics to Elsa.
3) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and either Necklace of Rhudaur or Guard of the Eglain.
Special thanks go out to Wren for providing this quest writeup!
