Crafting: Cook QuestThis quest is for Cooks that have gotten their first 200 experience points at the Apprentice level. You will need to complete this quest before you can continue to earn XP, and to open up new recipes.
You can get this quest from any Novice Cook; the one I happened to be near was Gil, in Bree. He tells you that, while your cooking is a treat, you need to hone your skills and techniques by learning from Alken Chubb.
STEPS:
1) Talk to Alken Chubb. Gil tells you:
"Seek out Alken Chubb at the Green Dragon Inn in the village of Bywater, in the Shire, and tell him that you wish to learn his techniques."
Alken Chubb will be standing in front of the bar at The Green Dragon Inn in Bywater (31.8s, 69.6w). All you need to do to finish your quest is to speak with him.
2) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you receive a new title (Apprentice Cook), as well as gaining the Characteristic: Craft Cook Complete Proficiency Tier 1.
