Goblins and Spiders

General Quest

To get to Oatbarton town in Evendim, take the zone-in from the Shire; it is the closest.

Bob saw a goblin kill a spider and "drag it back to their camp." He wants you to find out what a goblin wants with a spider, by checking out the spider's corpse.

STEPS:

1) Examine the corpse of the spider. Bob suggests to you:

"Maybe you ought to go out to their camp at Bleakleaf Crest, out east of here, and see if you can find that spider they dragged off."

Travel east from town, and you'll soon come to cliff overlooking the Brandywine River. Don't tumble down it, like I did, for you may have to swim for some time before you can find a place to climb back up. Instead, head northeastish along the cliff. You'll see a huge tree with a crude fence around it. This is Bleakleaf Crest, and it's the Goblin camp (22.6s, 64.2w). You'll be fighting level 28-29 nasties, often two at a time. After entering, head west. You'll have to fight one camp with two Goblins to get to the Corpse of Spider (22.5s, 64.3w). After you double-click it, your quest will update.

2) Talk to Bob Proudfoot.

3) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and you will now be able to take the next quest, The Goblin's Source.
