Lost Dog

General Quest

North of Oatbarton in Evendim you'll find Dwaling. Or rather, you'll find the few remaining original Dwaling inhabitants, before some evil Men took over that actual town. Where you'll find Ronald is more like a glorified campsite.

Ronald tells you how his son had a favorite toy, a lead dog, that was lost during a picnic. He wants you to find it.

STEPS:

1) Find the small lead dog. Ronald says to you:

"The toy has to be somewhere in the Barandalf, the sand marshes north and east of Dwaling. I have heard that strange burrowing creatures have since inhabited the area. There is a good chance one of them could have swallowed it up, thinking it to be food."

From Ronald, head north and get around the aggro mobs before you head to the NE, which will lead you to a sandy area. Here is where you will find level 30-31 Burrowing Sand-norbogs (19.6s, 63.5w). I only had to kill two before one of them coughed up the dog.

2) Talk to Ronald Dwale.

3) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and you will now be able to take the next quest, Recovering the Lost Leaf.
