General QuestWhile the weapons in the troves you found will help Esteldin a great deal, they still need something more: hope. To give them such, Faronwen will be crafting banners, but she lacks the dyes to color them properly. You will be gathering her some dye-making material.
STEPS:
1) Collect 12 hillborn woad. Collect 12 hillborn orchanet. Faronwen explains to you:
"On the plains and rolling hills of Rhunenlad and Nan Amlug in the east, you will find hillborn woad and hillborn orchanet. Many of these plants have been trampled in the Orcs' passage, but I am sure you will be able to find enough to meet our needs."
For your locational pleasure I will now list plenty of coordinates of these plants. They do respawn, though not fast enough for me to stand in one place while I waited for Brasse's plant to pop up, heh. These coords are within Nan Amlug East unless otherwise specified:
HILLBORN WOAD: (8.3s, 39w); (9s, 38.5w); (8.8s, 38.7w); (8s, 39.4w); (8.5s, 38.1w); (10.1s, 38.2w); Rhunenlad: (10.9s, 38.1w); (11s, 37.9w); (11.4s, 37.4w).
HILLBORN ORCHANET: (7.7s, 38.9w); (8.8s, 38.6w); (8.2s, 39.5w); (8.3s, 39.2w); (7.8s, 38.9w); (8.7s, 36.8w); (8s, 39.4w).
2) Bring the woad and orchanet back to Faronwen.
3) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and either Faronwen's Shoulder Pads, Tirchathol, or Anorchol.
