Dourhand Plans

General Quest

Hannar suspects that the Dourhands are preparing an attack, and he wants to know the extent of their plans. So, you get to go to their camp and find them!

STEPS:

1) Find the Dourhand Plans (0/1). Hannar says:

"We think that plans have been sent from the main Dourhand camp to their smaller camp west of Othrikar, in some old Arnorian ruins. We need you to find those plans and bring them to us. More than likely those plans are kept in a chest in the deepest part of the ruins. Be careful, because the ruins are extensive and intricate."

The camp west of Othrikar is a large, walled fortress called Ost Galumar. You cannot just travel straight west to get there, due to the mountains in the way, so either jump over the wall on the west side of town and carefully slide down a mountain, or take the road out of town and then head west and north to go around the back of the town. Once in the fields, work your way west until you see the big ole dorfy thing looming ahead. Now to get inside the fort! To avoid aggro, go over a hill and work your way to a causeway that leads into the camp (6.9s, 46.6w). Here's a nifty Brasse map of the fort.

Inside the camp you'll be fighting level 28-30 birds and Dourhands. The Dourhand Foreman is level 30, and stands next to the chest (7.2s, 47.3w). He'll have a couple of birds with him. Kill them all, loot the chest (double-click), and head out of there, plans in hand.

2) Return the plans to Hannar.

3) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and you will now be able to take the next quest, Pulling Beards.
