General QuestMauno has a way to preserve Warg hides by using harrow weed. You will be gathering for him both hides and weed!
STEPS:
1) Collect 10 dire warg hides. Collect 10 harrow weed. Mauno tells you:
"The Wargs wander the plains in the east. The dark hides of the Dire Wargs might make armour that will let us hide more easily from the Rauta-lehma and the Angmarim."
You'll find the level 31-32 Dire Wargs in Nan Amlug east, in the forest area not far from the camp (9.7s, 37.2w) and (8.3s, 37w). Not every Dire Warg will drop this.
Here are the places I found the weeds (the later coordinates indicate an area far to the east that was especially good for this weed): (8.5s, 36.4w), (8.6s, 38.2w), (8s, 39.1w), (7.7s, 38.9w), (8.7s, 34.6w), (9.1s, 34.7w), (9.3s, 34.7w), (9.4s, 34.8w), (9.6s, 35.2w), (9.8s, 34.9w) and (10.9s, 35.3w).
2) Bring the items you have collected to Mauno.
3) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, either Warg Hide Helm or Stalking Cloak.
