General Quest

NOTE: You must have completed Chapter 08: The Red-Pass in order to be offered this quest.

Dannasen wants to "bring innocence and beauty" to the Red-Maids sanctum. To do this, you'll be collecting an urn that she used to "calm the water."

NOTE: Agamaur is a tough place, even if the mobs are several levels lower than you. It is best if you head there with a full group, or go with a smaller, well-balanced group, and take your time. For your comparison, here was our group make-up: Myself, a level 33 Hunter; Brasse, a level 32 Guardian; Risi, a level 30 Minstrel; Grif, a level 30 Captain; and Amaranth, a level 35 Burglar. Many thanks to Risi and Amaranth for helping The Brasse staff complete this quest! While that group helped with the first stage, another group helped with the second stage. This fellow was much over-powered: Myself, a 34 Hunter; Aerlyn, a 41 Champion; Grif, a 30 Captain; Drventure, a 36 Champion; Chiron, a 40 Minstrel; and my favorite dorf, Brasse, a 33 Guardian. Thank you to all that assisted with this quest.

NOTE: For questal efficiency, you may wish to work on this quest at the same time as Cutting off the Hand.

STEPS:

1) Collect the Urn of Agamaur. Dannasen tells you:

"The urn is in the west guarded by Ivar's minions. Retrieve the urn, then travel to the southeastern-most part of Agamaur. There, seek out a natural altar…thou will know it when thou see it, for the wretched darkwater will guard it in force. Fill the urn with water from that place and return to me."

Once again, please utilize Brasse's incomparable map of Agamaur. The urn is behind a nasty fella named Reykur, a level 31 Elite with 4,475 morale and 734 power. After you take him out, just head behind him to double-click the small urn--the respawn on this item is fairly fast (29.6s, 29.5w). Note this is also listed on the map!

2) Find the Red-maid's altar. This is noted on the map (29.8s, 25.6w).

3) Fill the Urn. Double-click the urn in your inventory right after you find the altar to fill it up. You'll also get a message about the water.

4) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, Dannasen's Kinfe, and either Menevaib, Amarthgol, or Dorchrist, and you will now be able to take the next quest, A Sister's Love.
