Ravaging Orc-Bounty

General Quest

Just when you thought there were not possibly any more creatures you could kill for this guy, he sends you off to deal with even more Orcs!

NOTE: The monsters in the outer camps of Dol Dinen are not Elite, and are easy to kill by a patient, careful player within level range of the monsters. As long as you do not pull too many at a time, you should be fine solo.

For questal efficiency, you may wish to work on Forced into Service and Shattering the Alliance at the same time as this quest.

STEPS:

1) Collect 6 helms of the fallen. Celephadh says to you:

"The Orcs in the ravaged lands of Dol Dinen have become bold, pillaging much further north where they hold no lands. Bring the battle back to their camps and recover the helms of their victims. The Orcs of the ravaged lands are not to be counted lightly. Recruit your fellows for assistance in this task."

Leave Esteldin via the back-path that brings you to Rhunenlad. Once there, work your way east to get to the road, and follow it to the south towards the Dol Dinen area. To avoid aggro, hug the mountain on your right as you head to the west. I found helms on level 32 Ongburz Skirmishers (13.1s, 37.9w). Not all Skirmishers will drop a helm, and you can likely get them from other mobs too…it's just that I was alone, and discovered I could solo this fellowship quest if I did it a certain way. Your mileage will vary. :)

1) Return to Celephadh with the helms of the fallen.

2) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and either Fjor-Halm, Celephadh's Shoulder Guards or Helm Crusher.
