Founding Writ, The

General Quest

Brombard’s copy of the founding writ is old and worn, and he’d like you to try to get him another.


STEPS:

1) Go to Tuckborough (east of Michel Delving), and speak with Adelard Took, whom you’ll find in the Great Smials tavern (33.6s, 71.1w).

2) Adelard tells you he does not have the Writ any longer. It seems Belco Brockhouse has it, and he "won't give up the Writ until he gets a hand with his crops."

3) Go talk to Belco.

"Belco Brockhouse can be found north of Tuckborough town centre, up the hill and on the right of the path."

Belco is close to the Postman (32.8s, 71w). Belco will give you the Writ if you help with his farm errands.

4) After you speak with her and select "Finish Now", you will get your XP and you will now be able to take these other quests: Old Sally, A Sack of Feed, and Shore Up the Fence.
