Rescuing Vengeance

General Quest

Lagorlam tells you how he went to Taur Gonwaith to get revenge against the Trolls for killing his friend Lachenn. He asks for your help in returning back to Lin Giliath safely.

NOTE: For your comparison purposes, here is my fellowship composition: Myself, a 35 Hunter; Kari, a 32 Burglar; Brasse, a 34 Guardian; Grif, a 31 Captain; and Melariel, a 46 Minstrel. Many thanks to those that helped The Brasse staff finish this quest!

STEPS:

1) Escort Lagorlam to safety. You know the drill here---keep the aggressive-yet-fragile NPC alive until you reach their safe point. You may have to battle 2-4 Trolls at a time, so be careful and mesmerize/trap/etc. them when you can.

Also, if you can get the nearby area cleared of Trolls before you accept the quest, this will make it a bit easier on you. Lagorlam does stop to give you a chance to catch your breath once (14.6s, 41.9w). After your brief respite, several more Elite Trolls attack you, especially for this quest. Before long Lagorlam bids you good-bye in Meluinen (14.6s, 42.2w).

2) Talk to Thaliollang. You'll find him in Lin Giliath (13.7s, 44.6w).

3) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and you will now be able to take the next quest, The Stolen Ornament.
