Pulling Beards

General Quest

Now that Hannar knows the details of the impending Dourhand attack, he is in need of your help once again. He wants you to attack the leader of the Dourhands. He adds: "Those Dourhands have pulled our beards too many times. It is time to return the favour..."

NOTE: For your comparison, here was my group composition: Myself, a 34 Hunter; Kari, a 30 Burglar; Shaeroc, a 34 Burglar; Melodea, a 31 Minstrel; Janella, a 29 Minstrel; and Bregnir, a 32 Champion. This quest was a cake-walk for us--you could do it with half as many people, though it would take you longer! Thank you to all of those that helped me with this quest.

NOTE: For questal efficiency, you may wish to work on the Birds of a Feather concurrently with this one.

STEPS:

1) Defeat Torfi Hammerhorn. Hannar tells you:

"Gather your own allies and attack the camp of Torfi Hammerhorn, leader of the Dourhands in this area! It is just north of Othrikar."

Torfi resides in an region called Thurum (entrance to the area: 4.4s, 45.5w). You'll be fighting Torfi's Guards (level 29 Elite) along with some regular mobs (level 28). There are two guards on either side of Torfi (level 31 Elite with 4,520 morale and 611 power), who stands at the back part of the small Thurum area (4.1s, 45.8w). Be cautious with your pulling, and he'll soon be dead to your hands!

2) Talk to Hannar.

3) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and either Black Biter, Hammerhorn's Demise, or Dourhand's Foe..
