Odd Requests

General Quest

Hithlim has heard that a group of Hobbits called the Mathorn Society are trying to purchase some "interesting items." He wants you to go to the Shire and see what's what.

STEPS:

1) Talk to Greylond Bottomley. Hithlim tells you:

"I have heard that a hobbit named Greylond Bottomley has been taking out the orders. You should seek him out." From the quest notes: "Hithlim has asked that you speak with Greylond Bottomley outside the Mathorn House in Michel Delving."

I assume by this point you know how to get yourself to the Shire, and to Michel Delving, the farthest Hobbit city to the southwest. Once in town, head to the Mathom-house, which is on a hill overlooking the city, with Greylond standing outside of it (33.4s, 75.5w). If you need a reminder, check out Brasse's Michel Delving map.

2) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and you will now be able to take the next quest, Mathoms--Introduction.
