Cutting off the Hand

General Quest

Eriac wants you to cut off the commander of the wight-army, Reykur.

NOTE: Agamaur is a tough place, even if the mobs are several levels lower than you. It is best if you head there with a full group, or go with a smaller, well-balanced group, and take your time. For your comparison, here was our group make-up:

NOTE: For questal efficiency, you may wish to work on this quest at the same time as Vessel of Purity.

NOTE: For your comparison, here was our group make-up: Myself, a level 36 Hunter; Brasse, a 34 Guardian; Grif a 31 Captain; and Kari, a 35 Burglar. It was EASY with this crew, thank you all for the help!

STEPS:

1) Defeat Reykur. Eriac tells you:

"I have no doubt you will find Reykur skulking in the ruins beyond the wights' camp. Since you have proven able to slay his lieutenants, he will be more cautious and make you come to him."

Once again, please utilize Brasse's incomparable map of Agamaur. You will find Reykur on it, after some stairs, at the top platform of a ruin (29.6s, 29.5w). He's a nasty fella, a level 31 Elite with 4,475 morale and 734 power.

2) Talk to Eriac the Strong.

3) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and either Cap of the Eglain, Gauntlets of the Eglain, Reykur's Fall, or Reykur's Foil.
