Terrible Secret of the Salamanders, The
Burning Island, the
General QuestCalatherdir fears the salamanders are spreading, and wants you to determine the cause.
STEPS:
1) Investigate Tyl Ruinen. Calatherdir tells you that Tyl Ruinen is an "island on the west side of the lake." He continues:
"There is a ruin in the centre of the island called Tollobel. Perhaps some clue to the origin of the salamanders may be found there."
Jump in the water next to Tinnudir and swim directly west to the island of Tyl Ruinen. From there, head to the left of the ruined temple called Tollobel (south) to find Humfrey Rumming, a monk standing on a hill (11.7s, 72w). He seems fairly odd, and confused.
2) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and you will now be able to take the next quest, Rumming's Ridiculous Request.
