Leathery Wings of the Drakes

General Quest

NOTE: Before you will be offered this quest you must have completed the Techniques of the Masters quest.

Gondranc wants to use the "tough and leathery" wings of the drakes to make some armour, so you get to collect some hides for him.

NOTE: For questal efficiency, you should work on Valley of the Worms at the same time as this quest.

NOTE: For your comparison, here was our group make-up: Myself, a level 36 Hunter; Brasse, a 35 Guardian; and Grif a 32 Captain. It was very do-able with our crew, thank you all for the help!

STEPS:

1) Collect 4 Drake Leather-hides. Gondranc tells you:

"I doubt the drakes will be as ready to give up their wings as the worms were to shed their scales. Take allies with you as you hunt the drakes. You will find the beasts in the western pass of Ram Duath, northwest of Esteldin."

Go to the western pass, in northern North Downs, above the 'w' in 'Nan Amlug West' on your map. Fight your way past the normal worms, and you'll soon encounter Young Drakes, level 31 Elites (not far from 5.1s, 41.6w). The hides are on the body of the Drakes.

2) Bring the drake-hides back to Gondranc.

3) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and, if you have also finished Aurochs Mantles, you will now be able to take another quest, A Promise Fulfilled.
