Plague-Bearer of the North

General Quest

Arohir now wants you to kill the Hillmen's leader, though he urges you to bring allies.

NOTE: For your comparison purposes, here was my fellowship composition: Myself, a level 38 Hunter; Gurukismet, a level 39 Burglar; Tellumom, a level 39 Burglar; Raleen, a level 40 Champion; Brasse, a level 36 Guardian; and Egakros, a level 36 Hunter. With this group, the fight was over before it began, heh. Many thanks to all that helped me with this quest!

STEPS:

1) Kill the Hillmen Plague-bearer. Arohir tells you:

"At the heart of the camp, sheltered by the walls of Ram Duath there is a command tent. Oathsworn guards watch over their leader, a powerful witch of the north known only as the Plague-bearer. If unchecked, she will spread her plague into the North Downs, so again I turn to you."

You'll find the Hillmen camp at the end of the road that leads to the far northeast, past the forested area in Nan Amlug East. Not far into the camp, on the right, you'll see a tent. The Hillmen Plague-Bearer is within, and he is a level 36 Elite with 5,561 morale and 1,296 power (7.7s, 33.7w). There are a couple of normal Hillmen standing guard at the tent's entrance.

2) Speak with Arohir.

3) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and either Avorlos, Arohir's Gold Bracelet, Arohir's Cap, Hanham, Anwarchris, or Red Feather.
