Beyond the Ram Duath

General Quest

Arohir tells you about two rangers that have been lost for some time. He wants you to try and find them.

STEPS:

1) Seek out Golodir and Corunir. Arohir tells you:

"I would ask you to make your way north and to seek out a place called Aughaire. This is a home to the Hillmen of the North, at least some of whom Golodir reported to be hospitable, unlike their kin in other places. If you find our two lost kindred, assure them that we have not forgotten them, and that we shall soon require their services again."

He continues:

"Once you pass through the dangerous Ram Duath to the north, you should be able to find Aughaire by heading west."

The quickest and safest route is to take the eastern entrance into the Ram Duath, and follow the path to the north. You'll pass through the Earth-kin camp, and eventually come to an area where the northern road ends.

At this point (1.4s, 38.8w), turn left (northwest) to continue a road that leads to Aughaire. Corunir is at the most northwest section of town, near the crafting equipment, inside a tent (0.7n, 39.9w). Corunir tells you that he has not seen Golodir in five years, and assumes he is dead. He also mentions that the people of Aughaire have not been attacked by any Angmarim. Finally, he tells you to speak with the chief.

2) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward and XP.
