Captains of the Black Tide

General Quest

Arohir figures that by killing some of the Orc captains that "it may throw the lower ranks into confusion."

NOTE: For your comparison, here was our group make-up: Myself, a level 37 Hunter; Brasse, a 35 Guardian; Grif a 32 Captain; and Jasia, a 30 Minstrel. This group plowed through these mobs. Thank you for all the help with this quest!

STEPS:

1) Defeat Captain Shum-batar. Defeat Captain Thorgal. Defeat Captain Dombri. Arohir tells you:

"Enter the encampment of the Orc-host in Dol Dinen, southeast of Esteldin, and slay the Ongburz captains Thorgal, Shum-batar, and Dombri. They were last seen among the Warg-keepers."

Captain Thorgal is a level 33 Elite with 4,987 morale and 785 power. He spawns (and quickly) in a camp near a bridge along with one Signature mob and one normal mob (13.8s, 38.2w). During the fight he will summon two normal mobs to aid him. Captain Dombri wanders in the trenches in Dol Dinen; he's a level 33 Elite with 4,888 morale and 785 power (14.3s, 38.1w). Lastly, we found Captain Shum-Batar also wandering around, and his stats are the same as Dombri's (15.6s, 39.2w).

2) Talk to Arohir.

3) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and you will now be able to take the next quest, Orcs of the Blood Mountain.
