General Quest

The Free People's Camp is a small encampment northwest of the Norbury Gates. You get to it by taking the road going through the middle of the Fields of Fornost to the north as far as you can go. This ends in a fire behind a gate to the ruins. Take a left (west) here, and you'll soon enter the camp to the southwest.

Gareth tells you the camp is having a difficult time with the continual raids of Orcs and goblins. He wants you to take some of them out in Fornost City.

NOTE: For your comparison, here was our group make-up: Myself, a level 36 Hunter; Brasse, a 34 Guardian; Grif a 31 Captain; and Kari, a 35 Burglar. It was very do-able with this crew, thank you all for the help!

STEPS:

1) Defeat 15 Orcs in Fornost City. Defeat 15 goblins in Fornost City. Gareth tells you:

"Enter the city and slay as many Orcs and goblins as you can. The strongest concentration of their forces seems to be around the foundations of the keep itself."

There are lots of these both inside and outside of the fort (this section is in the middle of the Fornost area on your map), so you can choose your environment based on your group. We had no healer, and the mobs inside are grouped somewhat closely, so we stayed on the periphery, and had no trouble finding enough mobs.

Note that all of the Orcs are Elite, and all of the Goblins are normal mobs. Some of the Orcs are called Blogmal Warlords, level 35 Elites (6.2s, 54.4w). The Blogmal Spear-Masters are level 32-34 normal, and the Blogmal Sappers are level 34 normal.

2) Talk to Gareth Copp.

3) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and you will now be able to take the next quest, True Intentions.
