Eliminating the Beasts

General Quest

The Free People's Camp is a small encampment northwest of the Norbury Gates. You get to it by taking the road going through the middle of the Fields of Fornost to the north as far as you can go. This ends in a fire behind a gate to the ruins. Take a left (west) here, and you'll soon enter the camp to the southwest.

Lovenol is concerned about the corrupted animals in Fornost. She wants you to kill them "before they can be released into the wild."

NOTE: For your comparison, here was our group make-up: Myself, a level 36 Hunter; Brasse, a 34 Guardian; Grif a 31 Captain; and Kari, a 35 Burglar. It was very do-able with this crew, thank you all for the help!

STEPS:

1) Defeat 10 bears in Fornost. Defeat 10 boars in Fornost. Defeat 10 aurochs in Fornost. Lovenol tells you:

"Take your allies and enter Fornost. Once there, destroy as many of the corrupted animals as you can."

Head north from the camp and you'll soon be surrounded by the creatures you need to kill. The Ancient Hoar-Mantles are level 33 Elite (7.3s, 55.3w). You'll also encounter Great Hoar-Mantles, which are level 33 Elite (7.2s, 55w).

Two kinds of Elite bears roam the fields: Ancient Field-Bear, level 33 (7.2s, 55w) and Field-Bear Cubs, level 30 Elite (6.9s, 54.7w).

Finally you'll need some piggies, and these are normal, non-Elite mobs. The Sickly Razortooths are level 32-34 (7.5s, 56.2w).

2) Talk to Lovenol.

3) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and you will now be able to take the next quest, Seeking the Source.
