General QuestAragorn sure has a lot to say about history and lore and such. I gathered that he wants Narsil (the sword) reforged to once again be able to use the light it brings.
STEPS:
1) Talk to Hemeldir. Aragorn tells you:
"The blade must be reforged. Speak with Hemeldir at the forges here in Rivendell, in the northwest corner of the Vale, and tell him of my decision. I would have him know that Narsil is to be remade."
Hemeldir is at The Forges of Rivendell, on the far west side of the area (28.5s, 6.2w). He gives you bad news--he lacks a stone to use in the reforging, so Narsil will not be like it was. Select "Continue Quest" to progress to the next stage.
2) Talk to Aragorn. Aragorn pledges to find a Silithar to help in the reforging.
3) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and you will now be able to take the next quest, A Man Called Estel.
