General QuestBefore Calenglad will believe the message you brought him, you will have to earn his trust by earning the trust of his fellow Rangers.
STEPS:
1) Earn Astiul's trust. Earn Forchon's trust. Earn Naethmunn's trust. Calenglad says to you:
"You will find my fellow Rangers here at Tinnudir. If, however, you prove false, I will have you cast into the lake with any of your robber-friends that I catch!"
The closest Ranger is Naethmunn, who stands just a bit east of Calenglad, near the Hunter Trainer (12.7s, 67w). To prove yourself to him, you'll need to do the quest: They Spy from the Heights.
Astiul stands to the north of Calenglad, and wants you to do the quest: Washed Up on the Shore (12.6s, 67.2w).
Finally, west of Calenglad and not far from the mailbox, you will find Forchon (12.6s, 67.3w). He will want you to complete: Evils out of Fornost.
After you've followed all of these quest lines, Calenglad's friends will think you are swell.
2) Talk to Calenglad.
3) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, Panthavron's Gem, and you will now be able to take the next quest, A Friend in Ost Forod.
