Meeting with the Blue Lady, A

General Quest

Calenglad says Gwindeth wants to meet you, but only to determine if she can trust you and if she thinks Aragorn is ready before she will "allow us to recover the Silithar."

NOTE: Many thanks to my favorite Dorf, Brasse, for leading me all over in this quest series while I did houseal errands, as well as for writing the directions on how to get to Gwindlethrond.

STEPS:

1) Talk to Gwindeth. Calenglad urges you to use respect when speaking with her, and to be upfront and honest. He says to you:

"She lives at Gwindlethrond, a cave in Western Emyn Uial, behind a clear waterfall that pours from the heights and feeds a shady pool at Rushingdale. You will need to circle the lake, for the pool is tucked among the hills on the far side of Nenuial. It will be a long journey, for Rushingdale is on the far side of Neniual, west and slightly south even of Tinnudir."

From Tinnudir, swim across the lake, heading east and just a little south. Line yourself up with the southern tip of the small island just south of Tyl Ruinen, and continue past it. You will soon see what appears to be a great bowl carved out of the mountainside, and as you get closer, you will be able to make out the waterfall.

When you approach it, you will see that you have entered Rushingdale. Clamber over the fallen trees to the base of the waterfall, and bumble around back and forth under the waterfall until you find yourself zoning (13.7s, 76w). Welcome to Gwindlethrond, the home of the Blue Lady. Thank you again, Brasse, for those wondrous directions!

Here is where you will end up on your in-game map:

And here is what the zone-in area looks like:

2) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and you will now be able to take the next quest, Corrupted Beasts of Nenuial.
