Stolen Stones, the

General Quest

Heithur feels strongly that the stones his Dwarven allies were carrying may still be recovered. He wants you to speak with Rochwen to learn what she knows.

NOTE: While this is listed as a 'fellowship' quest, Brasse (level 38 Guardian) and myself (level 39 Hunter) had no trouble with it.

STEPS:

1) Talk to Rochwen. Heithur tells you:

"Barachen dispatched an Elf named Rochwen to the road north of here, and she seems to know much about this region."

He also urges you to bring allies! You'll find Rochwen not far from the camp, on the north side of the road (33.2s, 20.2w). She says the cave-claw creatures are the closest ones to the bridge, so they may be to blame. She suggests you go to Ost Durgonn.

2) Search Ost Durgonn for Missing Dwarves. Rochwen explains to you:

"Travel northeast of the Last Bridge until you reach the ruins of Ost Durgonn and seek within their crumbling walls for either the stolen stones or the Dwarves of Heithur's company."

What (who, rather) you'll find is Toki Whitebeard, injured and in need of help, in the corner of the ruins of Ost Durgonn, a bit north of the 'h' in 'south' on your in-game map (31.7s, 20.9w). After you speak with him and select "Continue Quest", you'll need to keep him alive.

3) Protect Toki Whitebeard. Once you are on this step, six Whiskerback Scavengers (level 33-34) attack, three from the east and three from southish. Your priority here (aside from staying alive yourselves) is to ensure Toki does not die. After those beasts are dead, a Monstrous Whiskerback approaches. This is a level 34 Signature mob with 2,300 morale and 405 power. Afterwards, Toki decides he likes being chewed on by these things, and stays put. Oh, he does tell you this before you go:

"The Heithur Ironfist about the trolls that stole the stones, friend! You have my thanks!"

4) Talk to Heithur Ironfist.

5) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and you will now be able to take the next quest, The True Thieves, as well as a quest from Barachen, Very Unlike Trolls.
