Scout in Nan Tornaeth

General Quest

NOTE: Before you will be offered this quest, you must have completed the quest The Sons of Elrond.

One of Elrohir's peers not returned from a scouting expedition. Elrohir wants you to go and find Calenthon and help him with whatever he needs.

STEPS:

1) Talk to Calenthon. Elrohir tells you:

"Do you have a map of the wilderness? I will show you where Calenthon may be found. Look to the northwest of Thorenhad...there. Do you see there, by the "T" in Nan Tornaeth? Look for him there, and happy fortune go with you."

Oh boy, I wish I could give you better directions than that, but I found the many mountains and cliffs and various paths quite confusing. I ventured northwest until the words Nan Tornaeth appeared on my map, and then I just ambled around until I got to the campsite near the "T" (28.2s, 15.3w).

2) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get XP, and you will now be able to take the next quest, Beasts Among the Ruins.
