General QuestCalenthon is worried that whatever disease affects the local bears may spread to people. He wants you to bring him some of their pelts so that he may "examine them for some sign of the malady's source."
STEPS:
1) Collect 8 Tainted Bear-hides. There are a number of Blighted Mountain-bears (level 38-39) in the nearby area (28.5s, 15.8w). I found a hide on every bear, so it only took eight!
2) Bring tainted bear-hides to Calenthon. He determines that all the bears have been struck with an arrow or spear.
3) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and you will now be able to take the next quest, Calenthon and Malloval.
