Tooth and Scale

General Quest

Halsey wants to see some of the salamanders that roam the dunes killed. He promises to make you armor if you bring him their teeth and scales.

STEPS:

1) Collect 8 Sand-swept Scales. Collect 8 Sand-crusted Teeth. Halsey tells you the salamanders may be found "among the dunes of the Barandalf, to the southeast." Take the bridge out of town, and then you can take the road to the High Kings Crossing bridge, though note that there will be a variety of creatures on the roads, ready to attack you!

After crossing the bridge, continue following the road (which is safer on this side) until you reach the sandy area. There are a number of Salamanders around, level 30-31, upon whose body you will find the teeth and scales you need (18.1s, 62.5w). We found several at that location, though they seem to be spread randomly throughout the beach. Note that Brasse and I only had to kill 8 salamanders; we got a tooth and a scale from each mob.

2) Bring teeth and scales to Halsey Reed.

3) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and Salamander Stomper.
